The Marketing Events Coordinator will play a key role in expanding AlertMedia's reach by connecting with prospects and deepening relationships with existing customers. This is achieved through flawlessly executed virtual events, customer meetups, third-party trade shows, and AlertMedia-hosted in-person experiences. 

Who You Are: 

You are a highly organized self-starter with an exceptional eye for detail. You pick up new skills quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a forward-thinking mindset around AI and a willingness to continuously learn and apply new AI tools and capabilities. You embrace wearing many hats and are eager to roll up your sleeves to support both the team and the broader business. You take full ownership of your responsibilities and are driven by a constant desire to grow and improve. 

 What you get to do every day: 

  • Own and execute our Virtual Events program, sourcing and testing new virtual experiences that resonate with our target audience and create engaging opportunities for prospects and customers to connect with our team.
  • Manage our Customer Meetups program, coordinating both in-person and virtual  experiences designed to strengthen customer relationships and foster community among industry peers.
  • Coordinate the vendor contracting process, including vetting agreements and ensuring all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Track and communicate RSVPs with sales team for assigned events.  
  • Communicate pre-and-post event details to event registrants.  
  • Track and manage event budgets for assigned programs, ensuring expenses stay aligned with approved spend.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align on event strategy and develop relevant messaging and materials that support event goals.
  • Collaborate with the larger Events Team to provide additional support as needed.   

 What you bring to the role: 

  • 2+ years of prior event planning experience, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on Marketing or Business 
  • Aspiration to contribute to a fast-paced events team in a highly collaborative environment
  • Prior event planning experience preferred  
  • Skilled project manager with the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines    
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and ability to make sound, data-driven decisions   
  • Excellent communicator, with an ability to influence and compel through a confident and credible delivery 
  • This is a remote, U.S.-based position.
