A day in the life.

As our Marketing Events Specialist on the Marketing team, you’ll play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of various events to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, collaborating with the Marketing team to create event themes, managing budgets, and supporting on-site and virtual event management to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Ability to plan and execute corporate, client, prospect, and sales events in collaboration with Marketing to develop themes, objectives, and promotional strategies
  • Experience coordinating pre-planned and day-of event logistics including venue selection, setup and teardown, catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, registration, and attendee engagement
  • Management of event budgets, vendor relationships, timelines, marketing materials, and post-event feedback to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement
  • Execution of event email campaigns, report generation, and communication of event trends, ensuring key takeaways to shape future events
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel locally within the Chicagoland area with a heavy concentration at our Schaumburg headquarters and neighboring Chicago suburbs; 15% national travel
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including events outside of standard working hours as needed

  • Proficiency in online tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite

The applicable base salary range for this role is $62,000 to $108,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
