BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin, is recruiting for a PR and Social Media Intern for a 10-12 week hybrid program.

What You'll Do:

• Social Media Management: 

  • Scheduling posts, monitoring trends and engagement.

  • Help transition social media strategy through our rebrand.

  • Help stand up an employee social engagement strategy.

• PR/Comms

  • Writing press releases or award entries

  • Assist with rebrand planning and execution

  • Coverage monitoring and reporting

• Additional Marketing

  • Gain exposure to additional marketing functions across corporate, performance and product marketing

  • Throughout program, 1:1 meetings with all marketing directors to learn various functions

Who you Are:

• Undergraduate degree in progress or completed, preferably in English, Journalism, PR or Marketing

• A people person who loves collaborative problem-solving, learning, and contributing, and is motivated by a constantly evolving business landscape 

• Sharp, motivated, driven yet humble

• Excellent time management, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal savvy

• Crisp communication skills, including verbal, and written

• You are available 40 hours per week for a ten to twelve week summer internship
