Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Material Management Analyst to support the Site Operations Support team in Jacksonville, FL.
As Boeing Jacksonville continues to expand, this role offers the chance to contribute to innovative production control and supply chain initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and partnership. The position supports the BJAX Site (F/A-18, KC-46, Component Operations, P-8 Program, and future statements of work) with emphasis on Indirect Purchasing and Capital Asset Procurement.
The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive, positive culture and excel in a fast-paced environment requiring agility, integrity, and humility. They will apply their expertise to design and improve integrated business processes that enhance Production Control, Materials Management, and Capital Asset Procurement.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures.
  • Assists with audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
  • Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Indirect Purchasing and Capital Asset Procurement
  • Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
  • Coordinates the flow of limited materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
  • Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
  • Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chain.
  • Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products.
  • Works under general supervision.

Additional Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive Demands and Verify requirements
  • Manage Open Orders and Monitor Delivery & Consumption
  • Performs Audits and analysis' to influence and inform inventory levels and material requirements
  • Coordinates the flow of materials management related information internally and externally with escalation points
  • Driving resolution to material shortages by stakeholder influence
  • Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally within an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items continuously within an 8 hour shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ year's experience in supply chain, materials management, or a related function supporting production operations.
  • 3+ year's experience working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • 3+ year's experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite work, and ensure on-time production completion.
  • 3+ year's experience using GOLD and/or ERP/MRP systems to support materials planning and production control.
  • 3+ year's experience in Ariba and/or similar indirect procurement or purchasing, including Indirect supplier interaction and requisition processing.
  • 3+ year's experience applying financial acumen to support forecasting and managing LRBP or similar financial targets.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to obtain required forklift licensing prior to assignment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Lean+ and/or Lean 5S

Summary Pay Range:
Level 3 - $85,850 - $116,150/Annually
Level 4 - $106,250 - 143,750/Annually
