Position Overview

The Process Engineer will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations at our wire production facility. This position focuses on improving productivity, quality, safety, and cost-efficiency through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze production data and conduct root cause investigations to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
  • Support Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Process Engineering Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in the integration of new equipment, technologies, and product lines into existing manufacturing processes.
  • Lead or support small-scale projects and contribute to larger engineering initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering and wire manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations (wire manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
