Job Summary/Description:

Gray Digital Media and KLTV/KTRE are looking for a dynamic leader in the digital marketing space to help local businesses grow in the Lufkin-Nacogdoches community. The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling digital advertising solutions to new and existing clients. This role exhibits strong hunter skills, develops strategy, builds proposals, and executes performance-focused campaigns across platforms such as display, Streaming TV, paid social, search, and Streaming Audio. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, a self-starter, and not shy about helping make an impact for Deep East Texas businesses. Knowledge in digital programmatic tactics like Streaming TV, Targeted Display, and Streaming Audio is a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Prospect, present, and close digital advertising business with local clients.
• Build client strategies based on business goals.
• Develop media plans and proposals.
• Coordinate campaign launch and optimization with internal ad ops/fulfillment teams.
• Monitor pacing and performance; recommend optimizations and upsell opportunities.
• Provide reporting insights and translate metrics into clear business outcomes.
• Stay current on digital ad products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in digital media sales, advertising, or consultative B2B sales (preferred).
• Working knowledge of digital ad formats and metrics (CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, conversion rate).
• Experienced in prospecting and generating new business
• Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts/campaigns with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience selling Streaming TV/Programatic ad tactics
• Familiarity with ad platforms and measurement tools (e.g., Google Ads/Analytics, Meta, DSPs).
• Experience in local media, broadcast, or multi-platform advertising organizations.
