Implement and optimize MEDITECH Expanse medication order-sets and clinical decision support. Advise clients on medication workflows and safety, develop specifications and documentation, train peers, coordinate build/test/validation, and drive adoption and process improvement.

CereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Expanse Order Sets Analyst to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medication ordering workflows and clinical decision support related to medications within Expanse.
Candidates with clinical credentials, such as Pharmacist, or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Experience with installation of clinical electronic healthcare systems, with a focus on medication management and order-set implementation.
- Working knowledge of Health Information Systems, specifically as they relate to pharmacy and medication workflows.
- Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as implemented/approved by leadership.
- Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal medication ordering workflows, medication safety best practices, and Expanse system functionality.
- Openly shares this knowledge with peers, via Peer to Peer training.
- Develops documentation and project content for internal or external utilization, including medication order-set specifications and build standards.
- Has excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, customer service focus, and is able to work independently or on a project team.
- Drives client communication processes to develop and enhance client understanding of medication order-set design, build timelines, validation, testing activities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Independently monitors own work for accuracy and thoroughness, with strong emphasis on medication safety and standardization.
- Shares knowledge to project teams, clients and drive medication focused workflow adoption and optimization.
- Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation.
- Understands project deliverables and level of effort required. Participates in the strategic planning with clients or utilizes project knowledge in the statement of work development process.
- Drives to incorporate Lessons Learned into departmental practice and methodology, particularly related to medication order-set governance and optimization.
Position Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with either MEDITECH Expanse OM and/or PHA, focused on medication order-set build, dictionaries, testing, training and support highly preferred.
- Clinical credentials, such as Pharmacist, or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) are highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Intermediate to expert ability to work in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point highly preferred.
- Must have strong documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.
- Creates deliverables independently.
- Provides coaching and technical and functional guidance on medication related project deliverable.
- Leads in communicating requirements to development, testing, education and training teams.
- Good organization skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Bachelor's degree preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related healthcare/technology field preferred.
- Advanced degrees (PharmD, MS in Health Informatics, MBA) or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.
