Stoneridge Software is looking for a Client Partner who is highly motivated, client-centric, and passionate about building strong, value-driven relationships. In this role, you’ll work closely with key client stakeholders to understand their business goals, ensure their technological solutions are aligned and performing optimally, and help them get the most out of their partnership with Stoneridge Software.

Your key responsibilities encompass support management, strategic account planning, and fostering strong, lasting connections with our clients.

A Day in the Life

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Strategic and Engaged client accounts
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including executive sponsors
    • Act as an internal advocate for the client while balancing business needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
    • Maintain accountability for overall account health, satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth
    • Lead regular business reviews and strategic check-ins to assess performance, identify risks, and uncover opportunities
    • Develop and maintain account plans aligned to client goals and Stoneridge capabilities
    • Identify and drive opportunities for account growth through cross-sell and upsell within existing clients
    • Partner with Practice Leaders and Sales Executives to scope, position, and price new engagements
    • Support deal execution and coordination once engaged, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and deliverables
    • Contribute to proposal development and ensure follow-through on required inputs and timelines
    • Maintain accountability for revenue growth, retention, and expansion within assigned accounts
    • Build knowledge of Stoneridge offerings, Microsoft solutions, and industry trends to support client conversations
    • Provide strategic oversight of delivery across client engagements to ensure alignment with business goals
    • Maintain visibility into project performance, risks, and resource alignment in partnership with Delivery and Support teams
    • Serve as an escalation point for client concerns and ensure timely resolution in coordination with internal teams
    • Support successful onboarding and transition into delivery, including introducing key delivery roles (e.g., Project Managers)
    • Maintain appropriate level of engagement throughout delivery (not day-to-day execution), ensuring strategic alignment and client confidence
    • Intervene when necessary to address risks, misalignment, or relationship concerns
    • Ensure client data, activities, and opportunities are accurately maintained within CRM systems
    • Leverage data to inform account strategy, identify trends, and improve client outcomes
    • Support clear ownership and transition of opportunities from Sales to Client Partner once accounts move into active management
    • Manage renewal timing and coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed
    • Act as a central point of coordination across client lifecycle stages, ensuring continuity and clarity

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 8+ years of experience in consulting, client delivery, or account management within a B2B or software environment
    • Strong experience managing client relationships in complex delivery environments (e.g., ERP, technology implementations)
    • Proven ability to drive account growth, retention, and client satisfaction
    • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales, Delivery, and Practice leadership
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and enterprise software solutions preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and follow-through
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

    Work Location: This position is available remotely in the United States.
     
    Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and Canada (up to 25%)  and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time

Compensation

    Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance.  Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.
     
    US (USD): $147,100-$212,300
