Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations. This is a hybrid role in Austin, Texas, so you must be able to commute to our office 1-2 times a week.

About the Team

Our Sales and Success team supports Canva Enterprise with the mission to empower every organisation to design. We work with customers across the content and design lifecycle, helping teams consolidate design, content creation, and collaboration—from whiteboards and docs to presentations and our AI platform, Magic Studio—within a secure, centralised account.

We’re a global, cross-functional team supported by strong partnerships with product marketing and enablement, ensuring our sellers are set up to succeed. With over 250M monthly active users and strong brand adoption, we benefit from a robust pipeline of opportunities and a clear, supported career path from BDR through SMB to Strategic sales. In short, this team is built for and ready to scale.

About the Role

This role is built for a hands-on sales leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is excited to help shape what comes next as Canva scales. You’ll lead Canva Enterprise growth across North America, managing and scaling a team of Mid Market Account Executives to deliver against broader Enterprise revenue goals.

From day one, you’ll lead from the front — immersing yourself in our product, customers, and sales motion, and setting the standard through execution. Over time, you’ll build and develop a high-performing, high-accountability team, putting the systems, culture, and processes in place to make success repeatable at scale.

You’ll balance strong revenue ownership with deep customer empathy, extending Canva’s tradition of customer enthusiasm while building best-in-class SaaS sales practices. Partnering closely with Sales Development, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Talent, you’ll help deliver an exceptional end-to-end experience for Enterprise customers and define what world-class, AI-powered selling looks like.

What you'll do

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Revenue growth: Rapidly grow Canva Enterprise in the North America region by leading a team of Mid Market Account Executives to help achieve the company’s overall Enterprise revenue targets
  • Customer enthusiasm: Extend Canva’s tradition of high customer satisfaction and continue to prioritize user feedback and excitement as the Enterprise business accelerates
  • Best-in-class processes, practices, and efficiency: Create, educate and refine the team’s practices, sales playbooks, and KPIs required to operate as a top SaaS business — including pipeline development, conversion rates, forecasting, hiring, performance management, enablement, training, partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Hire, motivate, develop and retain top talent: Build a team of A-players and continually raise the talent bar across the organization
  • Build great partnerships: Work closely with Sales Development, Sales Operations, Product, and Marketing to deliver an exceptional experience for Enterprise customers
  • Tools we use: Gong, Salesforce, Ironclad, and more

What we're looking for

  • People-first sales leader: You bring 3+ years of experience managing individual sellers in a market-leading SaaS business, including direct experience leading Mid Market teams. You’ve also sold at the Enterprise level yourself, giving you the credibility and judgment to coach complex deals and lead teams through growth and change.
  • Fast-moving problem solver: You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about helping customers succeed with Canva. You enjoy digging into product details, uncovering real customer needs through rediscovery, and applying value-based selling to solve meaningful business challenges.
  • Focused, impact-driven manager: You know how to prioritize effort where it matters most — reinforcing strong pipeline discipline, consistent prospecting, and high-quality discovery to drive sustainable revenue outcomes during periods of transition.
  • Clear and confident communicator: You can translate complex concepts, data, and customer insights into concise, actionable guidance for sellers and cross-functional partners.
  • Hands-on self-starter: You’re independent, organized, and approachable, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to unblock deals, coach live opportunities, and keep momentum high.
  • Humble operator with strong business acumen: You’re comfortable forecasting deals end-to-end on a weekly basis, regularly challenge your own assumptions, and are motivated by continuous improvement — for yourself and your team.

What's in it for you?

Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you'll also experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity, and fun woven throughout life at Canva. We also offer a range of benefits designed to set you up for success, both in and outside of work.

Here's a taste of what's on offer:

  • Equity packages — we want our success to be yours too
  • Health benefits plans to support you and your wellbeing
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
  • Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents and carers
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup, and more
  • Flexible leave options that empower you to be a force for good, take time to recharge, and support you personally

Other stuff to know

We make hiring decisions based on your experience, skills, merit and business needs, in compliance with applicable local laws.

We celebrate all types of skills and backgrounds at Canva so even if you don’t feel like your skills quite match what’s listed above - we still want to hear from you!

When you apply, please tell us the pronouns you use and any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process. Please note that interviews are conducted virtually.
