About the role

We are seeking ambitious and motivated candidates who have a strong interest in working in the Bitcoin and Bitcoin Mining industry. The Data Center Lead Technician will be responsible for the installation of Bitcoin Miners and maintaining a clean environment and the equipment. A successful Data Center Lead Technician possesses basic competence in reading, mathematics, hand tools, and technology.     


What you'll do

  • Supervise, train, and monitor team members.  
  • Monitor employee compliance with operational and safety standards, along with other department and company policies and practices. 
  • Assists the Assistant Supervisor by Performing administrative duties including but not limited to, utilizing company software (Monday.com),  reviewing, approving, and ensuring the accuracy of employee timesheets, and update work orders (pass downs).  
  • Perform the installation of computer equipment from start to finish including unpacking boxes, installing crypto miners, pulling, and installing cables (Cat-5) in the appropriate server port. 
  •  Use hand tools to cut foam and install on racking.  
  • Operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet to install and maintain crypto miners. 
  •  Responsible for the maintaining the crypto miners by performing housekeeping tasks including pick up and dispose trash, dusting, and sweeping the work area.  
  • Other duties may be assigned. 


What you'll bring

  • Prior experience installing computer equipment   
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Commercial Plumbing Experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work at heights on lifts and ladders required. 
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Good communication and multitasking skills



Physical requirements and work environment 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds) 
  • Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.) 
  • Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures 


Safety Requirements 

  • PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots). 
  • Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions. 
  • Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training. 
  • Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
