Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of features and projects end-to-end. Independently implements mobile features of moderate complexity while demonstrating a solid understanding of system architecture.
  • Independently analyzes and solves problems within the mobile domain. Proactively identifies and addresses technical issues, including debugging device-specific or OS-specific bugs, and submits documented issues to improve our service.
  • Actively maintains and extends our iOS and Android applications, continuously working to master the relevant mobile technologies and systems in place.
  • Clearly communicates progress and blockers. Communicates respectfully internally and externally, asks thoughtful questions, and participates constructively in team discussions.
  • Seeks feedback from multiple sources and perspectives, balancing that feedback with independent judgment. Constructively participates in code reviews to continuously learn and improve.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 1-2 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with native mobile development, specifically using Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.
  • Good grasp of basic programming foundations and familiarity with mobile-specific concepts (e.g., app lifecycles).
  • Solid working knowledge of modern declarative UI frameworks (Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI).
  • At least one primary programming language of focus (e.g., Kotlin, Swift).

This is a full-time remote position located in the United States. Employees hired within a designated radius of the office are expected to work on-site according to a schedule set by management based on the requirements of their role.

Benefits & Compensation

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $55,000-$95,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • The AlignOps benefit program includes health, dental, and vision coverage. In addition, the company offers disability, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
