THE ROLE:

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for sports and a knack for bringing visual narratives to life through motion design? If you're a seasoned motion designer looking for an exciting opportunity in the world of sports media, we want you on our team. As a Motion Designer at FloSports, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the way sports content is presented, captivating audiences with your dynamic and visually stunning creations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Motion Graphics: Conceptualize, design, and execute captivating motion graphics for a variety of platforms, including broadcast, digital media, and social channels. Bring sports stories, statistics, and highlights to life through visually engaging animations.

  • Video Production: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality sports-related videos, from promotional content to in-game animations. Take ownership of video projects from storyboard creation to final editing and post-production.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all motion design work aligns with the Flo's brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and visually appealing brand identity across various media.

  • User Engagement: Use your creative talents to enhance user engagement and viewer experience. Craft animations that resonate with sports fans and keep them coming back for more.

  • Team Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring the highest quality output from the design team.

  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest motion design trends and technologies, incorporating innovative techniques into your work to keep our content fresh and competitive.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding results.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience: A minimum of [5] years of professional experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating captivating animations and videos.

  • Sports Enthusiast: A genuine passion for sports and an in-depth understanding of various sports, events, and athletes. This enthusiasm should be reflected in your work, adding an extra layer of excitement to our sports content.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard motion design and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.

  • Creative Vision: A strong creative vision and the ability to transform ideas into visually compelling animations and videos. You should have a deep understanding of storytelling through motion.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. You'll collaborate with a variety of teams, so the ability to articulate your creative vision and work well with others is essential.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of motion design output.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • *Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred, but significant industry experience and an outstanding portfolio will also be considered.
