National Account Manager
Position Overview:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of select Strategic National Account Partners. This management includes implementing sales strategy, providing daily service needs, monitoring sell-thru activity, achieving sales targets, and developing new business opportunities. The National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering growth potential in substantial growth channels for the company.

Provides a management-level point for specific Strategic National Account partners whom they oversee

Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

Establishes productive relationships with the sales team thru frequent communication, collaboration, and the effective allocation of marketing investment
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Strategy development and planning
- Sales process management
- Recommends and engages in resource deployment for each channel
- Provides leadership and coaching to each sales team member who services these channels
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives
- Positively impacts the performance of each channel by implementing unique and individual sales approaches
- Leads field forecasting efforts for each channel managed
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction
- Utilizes all available company technology and reporting
- Manages COOP marketing budgets and vendor agreements
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
- Meets assigned channel quotas for sales, service, and strategic objectives
- Responsible for the efficient allocation of company support resources and budgets
- Achieves strategic channel objectives defined by company management
- Provides world-class customer service and support
Qualifications:
- Four year college degree
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience
- PC proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Consumer Retail experience

Physical Demand:
When needed, an employee must be able to fulfill the following physical requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, typically 8-10 hours a day, with occasional bending
- Pulling and reaching with hands and arms
- Ability to perform routine hand, fingers, and arm movements, including keyboarding and mousing
- Ability to see, hear, speak, and communicate effectively in order to perform job responsibilities, including exchanging information in person, by phone, and through electronic communication.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
This is a fully remote, work-from-home position that requires a dedicated, professional workspace, with specific expectations outlined in the Remote Work Policy. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including technology, is required.
