Responsibilities

Drive and grow profitable business with assigned Customers. Identify specific product and service opportunities to increase existing and develop new business. Present new program opportunities. Facilitate connection of offerings with key decision makers. Continual growth of comparable book gross margin for BMD, and our share with the customers Communicate and specifically direct our branches on how to develop and grow business. Analyze customer business, identify and execute margin improvement opportunities Develop and maintain relationship with key decision makers, influencers and leadership of assigned customers. Facilitate the relationship development with key Building Materials Distribution Division (BMD) leadership and field associates. Communicate with other division associates as necessary to improve BMD processes and knowledge with the customer. Be an advocate for the customer. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications 

Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.  Requires 50%-70% travel.

Preferred Qualifications: Successful applicant typically has more than ten (10) years of experience in related job function; or experience in the building materials industry.
