The Role

We are looking to add a Network Engineer to our growing IT Infrastructure Department. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring our network infrastructure.

This hybrid position will directly support our IT Infrastructure Operations at our Rockdale, Texas site.

What You'll Do

• Configuring network hardware: Installing and setting up switches, routers, firewalls and servers
• Handling repairs and maintenance: Upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting network issues
• Assisting with Network Design and Architecture
• Firmware and License Maintenance for Network Hardware
• Ensuring network security: Implementing security measures, monitoring network availability, and maintaining integrity
• iTSM: Strict adherence to Change management and ITSM policies.
• Documentation: Document network design and changes with viso, netbox etc.

What You'll Bring

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
• 5+ years’ experience with Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Networking
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
• Expert understanding of IT Infrastructure and Networking Fundamentals
• Expertise in Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, and similar Hardware
• Self-reliant and proactive, capable of taking the initiative on existing and new projects
