Nurse Educator / Employee Health Nurse

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess the training needs of employees and design appropriate learning interventions.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new nursing staff to ensure they are familiar with organizational protocols and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and modify them to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare environment.
- Provide individual coaching and mentorship to nursing staff to improve performance and professional development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate continuing education opportunities and workshops for staff to maintain licensure and certifications.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of educational activities, employee participation, and outcomes.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for employees, providing guidance on maintaining personal health and wellness.
- Collaborate with occupational health services to manage employee health issues and ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of employee health policies and procedures.
- Provide consultation and guidance on infection control and prevention measures within the organization.
- Act as a resource for staff on health-related issues, offering advice and support as needed.
- Engage in research and evidence-based practice to improve educational content and health initiatives.
- Serve on committees related to staff development

Qualifications
-
Master of Science in Nursing Education.
-
Registered Nurse in the State.
-
BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Two-year experience in an educator role.
