About Us

At the Prosper Centers, our mission is to provide expertise, support, and resources that expand access and opportunity for all to thrive. Through our Health Coverage Program, we help community members enroll in affordable health insurance via the federal Marketplace. We are hiring a team of temporary, on-site staff to support our work during the Open Enrollment season from November 1 to December 15.

Position Description

The Open Enrollment Site Manager is part of a team that oversees daily operations at Prosper Centers during Open Enrollment, guiding staff and volunteer enrollment specialists, ensuring sites are operating efficiently, and providing direct client support as needed.  This is a temporary, seasonal, grant-funded position. Paid training is expected to begin in late September 2026, with the role continuing through mid-December 2026. Based on a determination by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding the Open Enrollment period, the assignment may be extended through mid-January 2027. Employment in this role is contingent upon continued grant funding and business needs, and may end sooner if funding is reduced, exhausted, or otherwise terminated. In no event will this position extend beyond the approved grant funding period.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Proactively seek information to build out expertise in the Marketplace application
  • Gather information from Health Coverage team members and online resources as needed to troubleshoot Marketplace application issues and answer questions
  • Support efficient operations of enrollment site by managing opening and closing procedures, maintaining the workspace according to the site building and operating guidelines, and resolving client and volunteer conflicts 
  • Oversee data entry and quality review for each enrollment
  • Ensure clients receive timely support and clear communication regarding the intake and enrollment process and their questions
  • Complete client intake and enrollment processes to cover volunteer shortages as needed
  • Provide guidance and ongoing training to staff and volunteer enrollment specialists
  • Effectively use email, Healthcare.gov, REDCap, RingCentral, Acuity, Better Impact, and other technological systems in site operations
  • Complete all paid trainings and Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS) certification
  • Protect client confidentiality and PII/PHI in compliance with HIPAA policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements  

  • Strong interpersonal skills  
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency with technology and knowledge of computer operations and software 
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Willingness to embody Prosper core values of candor, collaboration, dignity, empowerment, and diversity

Preferred Requirements 

  • Experience with health insurance enrollment on the Marketplace
  • Experience with the Health Coverage program at Foundation Communities
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, and/or American Sign Language

Compensation 

$21.00 – $22.00
