What You Will Do

The Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting various applications and integrations within CWS’ core property management system (Yardi).  Some examples of the types of applications include those for on-site accounting, leasing, maintenance, and customer service.  This individual will communicate application functions, respond to questions, and provide solutions to issues as they arise with the various software.  At the request of the Director of Operations Applications, they will perform tasks necessary for acquiring or disposing of a property.

What Your Day Consists Of 

Align with and positively influence the CWS Culture.
  • As a member of the corporate office, embody and promote the CWS Purpose and Values.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service to peers, properties, and departments.
Participate in the setup and deployment of Yardi applications for new properties, as well as the termination of applications for dispositions.  
  • Assist with the setup, launch, and day-to-day support of Yardi applications such as: Voyager, Elevate, Screening, PayScan, Rent Café, and Site Manager.
  • Execute project plans within takeover or disposition timelines and the property’s budgetary constraints.
  • Terminate use of and access to various applications under management as required at disposition.  Also, provide reporting as needed to other departments for effective dispositions.
  • Incorporate CWS policies, procedures, and practices within the assigned applications.
Support day-to-day activities and integrations of various applications such as: insurance, utilities, deposits, resident portals, collections, and other systems as assigned. 
  • Complete Helpdesk tickets promptly and thoroughly.
  • Maintain naming and other CWS conventions, practices, and roles/rights standards when completing daily work.
  • Escalate Yardi software application or integrations concerns as-needed to the Director of Operations Applications.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members within the department, in other departments, and with property-based personnel.
