Training Wheels ABA is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and support the continued growth of our Austin-area services. 

We are looking for a strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, is confident using data to drive decisions, and enjoys balancing people leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance. 

This is an opportunity to take ownership of center operations while partnering closely with clinical leadership to create an efficient, high-performing, and positive environment for both our team and the families we serve. 

The Role 

The Operations Manager serves as the operational leader of the center, working closely with the Clinical Director and clinical leadership to ensure the center operates efficiently while supporting strong team performance, client access, and financial outcomes. 

You will partner closely with the Clinical Director and clinic leadership to: 

  • Oversee efficient and effective daily operations 

  • Support appropriate staffing levels, attendance, and coverage 

  • Drive strong client utilization and access to care 

  • Partner with clinical leadership to support parent and family engagement 

  • Monitor and support revenue and financial targets 

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Ensure operational and compliance standards are consistently maintained 

  • Support a positive, accountable, and engaged team culture 

  • Oversee scheduling processes and staffing needs 

  • Coordinate onboarding and operational aspects of new-hire integration 

  • Monitor center performance and provide regular operational reporting 

  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve efficiency and performance 

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations while working closely with the Clinical Director to align operational priorities with clinical needs, client experience, and overall center performance.

We're looking for a proactive leader who can take ownership, make informed decisions, and keep the big picture in focus. 

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, ABA, or a related operations environment 

  • Experience managing or monitoring financial performance and KPIs 

  • Experience with scheduling systems, staffing, and utilization targets 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • The ability to make confident decisions and prioritize independently 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset 

  • Experience leading teams and holding others accountable 

  • Proficient in excel and reporting systems 

  • A bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

Compensation & Incentives 

  • Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000 

  • Performance Bonus: Up to $10,000 annual bonus based on clinic performance metrics 

  • Full-Time, Exempt Position
