We have two new roles open and are seeking Experience Planners who can think in terms of omni-channel planning with strong digital skills to work closely with colleagues across our offices to support marketing and communications strategic plans with innovative ideas and thinking that deliver results in the healthcare sector. The levels for these two roles are Director to Group Director.

All employees are currently working remote; once our offices re-open, these positions can be in one of our offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Austin, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Florham Park, NJ or can be fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of the audience and the brand to develop programs designed to address audience and brand needs and deliver results

  • Lead as the day-to-day Engagement Strategist across AOR, dAOR and other account responsibilities as the authoritative strategic voice “in the room” and on client calls

  • Collaborate with team members from account, creative, research & analytics, social, paid media along with senior strategists to develop and align on insights and ideas through insights-driven plans that support business goals and objectives

  • Develop and deliver omni-channel experience plans for consumer (patient) and healthcare professional audiences supporting healthcare product and corporate brands

  • Present internally and to clients your thinking and ideas through impactful presentations

  • Support the internal and external teams to ensure experience plans are executed through brief development and ongoing support / guidance, for existing client and new business opportunities

Knowledge

  • Digital – understand the fundamentals of digital marketing and an understanding of the underlying technologies that support digital marketing such as marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot etc.), CRM, CMS, personalization (bonus) and biddable media (programmatic, search, social)

  • Social – knowledge of the primary social platforms and best practices for how brands can engage audiences through organic and paid opportunities

  • Paid Media – understanding the strategic role and mechanics of paid search, social, display, video and native advertising

  • Measurement – knowledge of measurement platform (e.g., Adobe & Google Analytics) and typical KPIs utilized in marketing programs and campaigns

  • BONUS (not mandatory): Understanding of the health ecosystem outside of marketing and communications that impact the potential from a brand such as market access, generic competition, corporate reputation, and sales force activities

Critical Skills

  • High collaboration IQ internally with creative, strategy and analytics partners

  • High client EQ -- understanding how to make your case through a compelling and consultative approach adapted to the style of the client

  • Storytelling and understanding the art of the presenting

  • Off-the-charts curiosity to keep tabs on the latest digital trends, analyze and reverse engineer award winning work, and be a go-to for ‘best in class’ examples in our industry..

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience with strategic and brand engagement planning (emphasis on digital engagement)

  • Experience developing performance-driven marketing programs

  • BONUS and Major Plus: Healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
