Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Lead Consultant, you’ll provide domain and functional expertise required to effectively design and implement finance solutions on Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules such as General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, Expenses, Lease Accounting, Accounting Hub, and Fixed Assets. You’ll also provide expertise required to effectively assess, design, and develop reporting needs for the financial modules. 

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

  • Provide functional expertise on Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, AHCS, FA) as well as its integration with other internal modules and external applications

  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting client teams to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality;

  • Identify gaps, validate configurations, and advise clients on solution options, risks, and value, while ensuring proper integration with internal modules and external systems and maintaining accurate requirements traceability;

  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP and build reports as part of the implementation and ensure the implementation meets the solution design, and aligns with Oracle Cloud ERP implementation recommended best practices;

  • Participate in the building reporting base needed in the implementation of projects using all available tools in Oracle Cloud ecosystem (OTBI, BIP, FDI, etc.);

  • Develop and participate in Oracle Cloud ERP reports use and test cases while providing support to end users during the various test cycles and ensure remediation and/or disposition of test case failures;

  • Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with business users across multiple regions and functions, and integrate gathered requirements into the Cloud ERP system design;

  • Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies, and procedures in the solution implementation;

  • Support project execution methodology, report on project progress, and proactively identify and manage issues to closure.

Qualifications

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; 

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementation including a thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes as well as deep functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, EXP, LA, AHCS, FA) and a functional knowledge of other Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Procurement, Projects, Grants, Core HR, Payroll);

  • Previous experience leading ERP implementations as a Functional Consultant, with at least four implementations of the modules listed above, including facilitating and conducting Business Process Workshops/Requirement Gathering Sessions, Proof of Concept Sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-live support, and Production support;

  • Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing and support;

  • Experience working with ERP to mature financial processes and reporting;

  • Experience in writing operational reports and analytical reports using OTBI, BIP, and SQL;

  • Testing and training experience specifically helping the finance and accounting functions adopt the newly defined procedures;

  • Strong written, spoken and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior and executive level management and influence outcomes.

Extra edge

  • Functional knowledge of other Oracle Cloud HCM (CORE, BEN, ABS, COMP, PAY, OTL, ORC, TAL, LRN) and Oracle Cloud EPM modules (EPBCS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, FreeForm);

  • Previous Healthcare/Hospital, Insurance, or Financial Services industry experience;

  • Familiarization with Project Management methodologies.
