About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Oracle Developer to perform sustainment tasks for client database support and APIs/Interfaces. Develops and maintains client Web Services APIs for existing and future client interfaces.


What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and queries to support application features and business workflows.
  • Analyze existing database code and processes to identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning improvements.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts for reporting, integration, and data processing needs.
  • Ensure database code follows best practices for security, reliability, reusability, and performance.
  • Work with relational database structures, implementing changes, updates, and schema modifications as required.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis on PL/SQL components and database-related issues.
  • Support deployment activities by preparing scripts, validating execution results, and ensuring smooth transitions between environments.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database structures, stored procedures, data flows, and development standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance on PL/SQL and database development standards.
  • Assist with data migration, ETL processes, and integration tasks between internal and external systems.
  • Monitor database performance and collaborate with DBAs to optimize queries, indexes, and storage strategies.


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen with active Secret Clearance
  • BA/BS preferrable, can be replaced by additional experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience with Oracle database replication
  • Knowledge of AWS and/or OCI related technologies and utilities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • AGILE Environment experience, DevSecOps
  • Have AWS Cloud One or AWS Gov Cloud experience.
