About this Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Office Assistant with at least one year of verifiable experience as an Office or Admin Assistant to support our workplace with a broad spectrum of office functions, administrative and/or operational needs. This position works on-site during flexible part-time hours in our Austin, TX office located at 360 and 2222. The working hours will vary within our regular operating hours based on business needs. Our regular operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
 
The right person for this position must possess and demonstrate a naturally positive attitude, a proficient skill level in modern office software and platforms (we use MS 365), an approachable demeanor, professionalism, a customer first mentality, and unquestionable integrity. This is a hands-on position that requires the willingness to roll up those proverbial sleeves and get work done in a very fast-paced technology environment.

 About the role
This is a Part-Time opportunity. We anticipate this person to work roughly 4 hours per day, Mon-Fri. Total hours are not guaranteed. Work will be performed on-site Monday-Friday in our Austin, TX office located at 360 and 2222.
 
This position will pay between $20-$22/hour, depending on qualifications, and is eligible for some awesome benefits and perks such as daily catered lunch, snacks and drinks, company team events, and paid Company Holidays.
 
What you get to do as our PT Office Assistant:
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of daily catered lunches to ensure a clean gathering space and a smooth lunch experience for staff
  • Own the office inventory ordering and supply processes, requiring the use of independent judgment, technical skills, and cost-consciousness when placing orders online
  • Coordinate various vendor relationships to ensure merchandise, snacks, lunch items, drinks, and general office supplies are received, stored, stocked up, and available to staff in a timely manner
  • Manage the front desk, including buzzing guests into our secured lobby area, coordinating requests with the proper department, managing the guest sign-in process, and keeping the front desk area clean, presentable, and safe from hazards 
  • Independently conduct daily office cleanliness duties such as loading and unloading dishwashers, putting away inventory, and all other duties as needed without being asked
  • Assist with coordinating, planning and organizing team events as needed
  • Ensure the office environment is inviting and safe by keeping it sanitary, well-maintained, organized, and free of hazards
  • Use independent research skills and high initiative to find innovative, creative, and efficient ideas to improve admin support processes and service to strengthen our business and culture 
  • Maintain working relationships with delivery services, vendors, caterers, property management, and contractors 
  • Provide white glove support to executives and department heads as requested, including the handling of any special or recurring projects 
  • Work with teammates to resolve and/or forward inquiries from customers, including teammates, to the appropriate source in a timely and courteous manner 
  • Manage the office mail process to ensure timely delivery  
  • Work on-site Monday-Friday in our Austin, TX office located at 360 and 2222
  • Complete any other tasks or duties as needed, requested or assigned to support the business 
Must be permanently authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship of any kind, and must pass background checks.
The physical requirements of the job include periods of sitting, as well as constant movement to fulfill duties such as frequently stooping, bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
