Job Description

We're looking for a Payment Operations Recovery Specialist to join our team in the Austin office.

Recovery is a team dedicated to prevention and mitigation of risks derived from chargebacks and other types of payment processing errors. Our mission is to minimize the impact of materialized loss on our customers and products. We have an awesome team of 23 people, who work closely together with risk & controls, operational and product teams to get things done. As a specialist in the Recovery team, you are directly involved in recovery operations and assisting our customers with resolving any payment-related issues.


Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Recovery Team:

  • Provide world-class customer support via email and phone channels to facilitate seamless flow of customer funds.

  • Help customers resolve issues related to direct debit chargebacks and other types of payment errors

  • Knowing chargeback processes and contributing to prevention and recovery of any uncollected funds

  • Work closely with the Product and Operational teams to identify actionable areas of improvement

  • Monitor and analyze domain related data, report abnormalities, contribute to operational improvements and team development

Qualifications

About you: 

  • You have experience working in a customer-facing role

  • You are punctual and have a strong attention to detail

  • You are good with routine but can also adapt and keep up with fast changes

  • You are proactive and independent but also know how important good team-work is

  • You can make decisions in critical situations and have the ability to multitask

  • You are able to prioritize your work based on the level of urgency and impact

  • You’re eligible work in our Austin office

Schedule Requirements
This role requires a set schedule, which will include one weekend day. Typical schedule options may include Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
Exact days and hours will be confirmed during onboarding.

Hourly Rate: $29.80
