About the Role
- We are looking for a Principal Payments Integration Architect to lead technical design and delivery of payment integrations for MaxanaPay clients.
- This role often client-facing and focuses on designing scalable payment infrastructure, guiding engineering teams through integrations, and advising clients on building modern payment environments.
- You will work directly with client engineering teams to design payment architectures, guide integrations, and ensure successful implementation of complex payment systems.
- Lead technical architecture discussions with client engineering teams
- Design scalable payment infrastructure and integration strategies
- Guide integrations with payment gateways, processors, and orchestration platforms including Gr4vy
- Architect payment routing, failover, and multi-provider payment environments
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients implementing modern payment infrastructure
- Partner with internal engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable payment integrations
Requirements
- Strong experience building and/or integrating payment infrastructure
- Deep experience designing APIs and integrating third-party platforms
- Experience working with payment gateways, processors, or orchestration platforms
- Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills
- Experience guiding engineering teams through complex integrations
- Experience with payment infrastructure platforms such as: Gr4vy, Stripe, Checkout.com, etc.
- Experience with payment orchestration, multi-PSP routing, or authorization optimization is highly valuable.
