Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled Pega Developer to join our growing team supporting our healthcare client Cigna in Austin, TX. This role involves designing and developing enterprise-grade BPM solutions using the Pega platform. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Pega PRPC 8.x+, strong integration skills, and experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Pega BPM applications

  • Implement robust workflows, business rules, and case management

  • Integrate Pega with external systems via SOAP, REST, MQ, APIs

  • Ensure compliance with Pega Guardrails and coding standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

  • Support QA, UAT, and production deployments

Must-Have Skills:
  • 10+ years of Pega PRPC development experience

  • Proficiency in case management, flows, and decision rules

  • Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP

  • Strong debugging, unit testing, and documentation skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have:
  • Pega CSA / CSSA certification

  • Experience in Healthcare or Insurance domains

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Education:

🎓 Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
