The Opportunity
The People & Culture Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in providing efficient and effective administrative and support to the People & Culture department. This position is responsible for a wide range of HR-related tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, action-oriented, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will possess high attention to detail and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, they will be a key driver in identifying areas for continuous improvement and  they will be managing end-to-end P&C initiatives.

What You’ll Do

P&C administration and operations

  • Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially in HR systems (e.g., HRIS) and physical files
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with relevant legislation
  • Provide guidance and support on P&C operational matters and new initiatives

Onboarding and employee experience

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, coordinating induction sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Drive employee experience initiatives to foster a positive work and culture environment including welfare programmes and team building initiatives
  • Support data analysis of employee experiences including conducting surveys, analysing feedback and results, and contribute operational insights to inform improvements

Employment Relations experience US and UK

  • Strong Knowledge of HR legislation and best practices in the United States
  • Experience with UK HR Legislation
  • Facilitate implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Ensure employees have access to relevant HR information and provide guidance on HR-related queries

Cross-functional partnership

  • Deliver a positive HR experience by partnering with stakeholders and managers to understand needs, provide clear guidance, and resolutions

Employee relations support

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and assisting with investigations as required

P&C continuous improvement and  project management 

  • Generate HR-related reports as needed, such as headcount reports, turnover statistics, and training summaries. Assist in the analysis of HR data to identify trends and insights
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in the scope of processes, knowledge content, procedures, workflows, and industry best practices
  • Drive end to end P&C projects from requirements-gathering, identifying risks and issues, communicating with relevant stakeholders and delivering successful project execution

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years experience in People & Culture, Human Resources, or Operations
  • UK legislation understanding would be beneficial
  • Proven track record in a centralized, global People & Culture team
  • Prior experience using HRIS systems and  Google Suite (docs, sheets, gmail)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Understanding of United States and United Kingdom employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism  
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours from time to time, to facilitate global support
