Job Overview

As a People Business Partner Manager at Saronic, you will lead a team of People Business Partners responsible for delivering strategic People support across the organization. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while coaching and developing your team to drive high-impact People initiatives aligned with business objectives.

You will partner closely with leaders to develop workforce strategies, strengthen organizational effectiveness, support talent development, and guide organizational change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While maintaining a strong understanding of all core People functions, your focus will be on building scalable People practices, developing your team, and fostering a high-performing, mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of People Business Partners, providing coaching, guidance, and professional development to ensure high-quality partnership across the organization.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, building trusted relationships and aligning People strategies with business priorities.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational objectives, workforce challenges, and future talent needs while proactively recommending solutions.

  • Guide leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives by identifying trends, facilitating feedback mechanisms, and partnering with leaders to develop action plans.

  • Support retention and talent development strategies that align with Saronic's mission, culture, and long-term growth objectives.

  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and continuous feedback practices.

  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant resolution while coaching leaders through performance and behavioral challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, partnering closely with People Operations and Legal as needed.

  • Partner with Recruiting, Total Rewards, People Operations, and Learning & Development to deliver integrated People solutions across the employee lifecycle

  • Lead and contribute to company-wide People initiatives, including organizational change, policy development, compensation planning, leadership development, and culture initiatives.

  • Develop and improve People Team processes, tools, and communications to enhance manager effectiveness and employee experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience

  • 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing People Business Partners or People professionals.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect People strategies to operational and organizational goals.

  • Deep understanding of employee relations, organizational development, performance management, workforce planning, and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and build trusted partnerships with leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using People metrics and HRIS systems to influence decisions.

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
