Aduro Advisors is looking for bright and talented individuals to join our team working to support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. Our People Operations team supports our organization of 400+ employees to enhance their employee experience through excellent customer service, knowledgeable support, and supportive programs. We are prioritizing hiring someone who is able to come into the Denver office about once per month, but we are open to fully remote candidates.

Aduro Advisors is seeking an experienced People Operations Business Partner to join our People Operations team. This person will be responsible for aligning business objectives with people initiatives. The role serves as a trusted and strategic advisor, coach, and change agent to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and expertise on people-related matters, to inform and support a tightly aligned business and talent strategy.

Here is the type of work you will do:

  • Form strong relationships with leaders of assigned business units and their teams

  • Use data to identify needs, develop solutions and programs, and evaluate success.

  • Coach leaders through employee relations and performance issues

  • Aid leaders in improving work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention

  • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning

  • Execute on company-wide People Programs within your assigned groups

  • In collaboration with your People Ops team members, improve People processes and systems

The salary range for the People Operations Business Partner position is $93,280-$116,600. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

You may be successful in this role if you:

  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a People Business Partner with substantial time spent managing performance situations and coaching new people leaders.

  • Consistently demonstrate discretion and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Are able to deliver full-cycle projects (start to finish) and results in a timely manner.

  • Are able to solve problems of medium complexity with little to no oversight.

  • Are resourceful and take initiative to seek internal and external resources and support when problem solving.

  • Have a very strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem solving skills.

  • Have a service mindset and enjoy interacting with the employees and leaders you serve.
