We're seeking a People Operations Partner to join our mighty people team in our efforts to support our growing organization in all of their People operations needs. You'll be an active part of two important pillars of the People team here at the Zebra. While primary focus will be payroll processing and operations initially, this role will expand into supporting the recruiting team as a recruiting coordinator as needed as.

Location:

While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still establishing our company to support work in all states! We’ve recently shifted from an in-office organization to a hybrid model and love the flexibility it allows our employees. We are set up to support employees who want to be fully remote, in-office only, and a mix of the two.

Please note - we will not be supporting work based out of the following states: CA, MA, NY, NJ.

What You'll Do:
  • Payroll Administration: Own end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy & compliance with state and federal regulations. Maintaining payroll records, deductions, benefits contributions in collaboration with our Finance department to reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies.

  • People Operations & Administrative Support: Support Key People initiatives such as onboarding, offboarding and compliance. Help maintain HRIS (Paylocity) data accuracy, assist in reporting & audits as well as provide day to day people administrative support to employees.

  • Recruiting & Talent Support: Supporting recruiting at the Zebra as a recruiting coordinator as needed by managing job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling and offer coordination.

Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 Annually

What We're Looking For:

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, phenomenal communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • Technical: 3–5 years of HR or People Operations experience, including experience in payroll processing as well as familiarity with recruiting coordination and applicant tracking systems. In addition to knowledge of labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Communication: You have a positive track record of communicating well (written and verbal) with candidates, your team members, and business partners.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.

Experience that will Impress the Heck Out of Us:
  • Experience with Paylocity and/or Payroll Processing.

  • Ashby ATS experience

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification a plus.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, growing organization, and managing multiple competing priorities at a time.
