This is a field-based sales role focused on building relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and clinical decision-makers to increase patient referrals and expand access to care. The ideal candidate is a consultative healthcare sales professional who understands how to navigate provider organizations, educate clinicians, and drive sustained referral growth.

In This Role, You Will
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on physician referral development and provider engagement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with sleep physicians, pulmonologists, primary care providers, ENT specialists, cardiologists, dentists, prosthodontists, and other referral sources.

  • Drive physician adoption and referral growth for Daybreak's at-home sleep testing and oral appliance therapy solutions.

  • Educate providers on obstructive sleep apnea, clinical outcomes, patient eligibility, treatment pathways, and workflow integration.

  • Conduct in-person and virtual provider meetings, lunch-and-learns, educational presentations, and training sessions.

  • Identify and cultivate key opinion leaders (KOLs) and physician champions within your territory.

  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, reimbursement, and patient support teams to ensure a seamless provider and patient experience.

  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize referral volume and long-term partnership growth.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, referral patterns, and emerging opportunities within sleep medicine.

  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed territory referral, revenue, and growth objectives.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has
  • 3–7+ years of medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or physician sales experience.

  • Proven success building physician relationships and driving referral-based growth.

  • Experience calling on physicians, medical groups, specialty practices, hospitals, or healthcare systems.

  • Strong understanding of consultative healthcare sales and provider engagement strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory.

  • Strong organizational and territory management skills.

  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and maintaining disciplined sales processes.

  • Willingness to travel 50–70%.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in sleep medicine, respiratory care, diagnostics, medical devices, or digital health.

  • Familiarity with obstructive sleep apnea treatment pathways, including CPAP, oral appliance therapy, and home sleep testing.

  • Existing relationships with sleep centers, pulmonologists, ENT physicians, primary care networks, or dental providers.

  • Experience launching or scaling innovative healthcare products in provider markets.

  • Clinical background or ability to confidently communicate clinical data and outcomes.

Approach to the Role
  • You are consultative and relationship-driven, leading conversations with clinical credibility and a focus on patient outcomes.

  • You thrive in physician-facing environments and excel at earning trust with providers and office staff.

  • You are highly organized and capable of managing a large territory with autonomy and accountability.

  • You understand how to influence provider behavior and build sustainable referral partnerships.

  • You are motivated by growth and take ownership of territory performance.

Compensation:

Final compensation will depend on experience, territory, geographic location, and performance.
