  • Data Reporting & Analysis: Analyze production data, forecast future demand, and provide detailed reports to management on key metrics like on-time delivery, production throughput, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or manufacturing operations, preferably in high-tech or semiconductor industries.
    • Prior experience with planning and scheduling for highly technical, complex manufacturing systems or components.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
    • Advanced knowledge of materials planning, procurement, and supply chain coordination in complex manufacturing environments.
    • Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting and production optimization.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in high-pressure environments.
    • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing or related industries.
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

Challenges & Opportunities:

Planning for the production of weldments and assemblies at UCT’s Austin site presents unique challenges due to the highly complex and technical nature of the components. The Planner II will need to manage intricate supply chains, precise production schedules, and tight deadlines, while ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology into global supply chain.
