The Challenge
We are looking for a Product Owner who will manage a platform of tools across the company and dive into complex problems and how we solve them with different technologies. We’re looking for a problem-solver who gets excited by the ambiguity of product discovery, loves talking directly to internal customers, and enjoys building the path forward rather than following one.
What You’ll Take On
- Own the problem, not just the solution
- Conduct customer interviews with stakeholder teams to validate problem areas that will require prioritization.
- Distinguish between “feature requests” (output) and “problems to be solved” (outcome). You will have the authority to say “No” to areas that do not solve a validated problem.
- Utilize prioritization frameworks (e.g. RICE) to prioritize your backlog, ensuring we are working on the highest value items first.
- Master the Backlog and Workflow
- Ruthlessly prioritize the backlog using data to say ‘no’ to low-value work.
- Write clear, concise user stories that focus on clear success criteria.
- Partner with the Tech Leads and tool vendors to push on innovative areas of products that deliver more value to our customers and scale our management of platforms.
- Bridge the Gap (Stakeholder Management)
- Act as the primary translator between leadership, our customers, and engineering teams.
- Communicate progress using a variety of modes, including Demos, Reviews, Presentations, and Writeups.
- Work with cross-functional teams to continuously deliver value and measure success.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies as the voice of the customer.
How You Will Work:
- Outcome over Output
- You won’t be measured by how many PRDs you write, but by metrics like Time-to-Value, Adoption, and Impact to the business.
- Data over Opinion
- You will use data to validate hypotheses and ensure alignment even when opinions differ.
- Discovery over Assumption
- We don’t hand you a roadmap. You build it by talking to your users and defining problems.
About You:
- You can understand and validate pain-points with customers and get to the root cause of them to understand problems deeply. You are also able to push back gracefully when something is not a priority.
- You prefer running an experiment to prove a hypothesis with data points rather than writing a 50-page requirements document.
- You can manage expectations with senior leadership regarding timelines and cost, advocating for a “Roadmap of Problems” rather than a rigid “Gantt Chart of Features”.
- You thrive using tools like Jira, Slack, Confluence, and Miro to create structure and clarity without letting process get in the way of progress.
What You Bring
- 3+ years as a Product Owner, ideally for enterprise SaaS platforms (Slack, Atlassian, G-Suite, Figma, etc.).
- Experience with agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience applying prioritization frameworks (RICE, WSJF, etc)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and APIs (SCIM Provisioning, AWS, GCP, Rest, etc.)
- Ability to write simple scripts and use AI tools to generate working prototypes to accelerate your work
Great to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with LLM Infrastructure and APIs (Gemini Enterprise, AWS Bedrock, etc.)
- Ability to read architecture diagrams and understand the difference between RAG and an AI Agent
- Experience working with Enterprise SaaS vendors
- Experience working in the video game industry is a plus
