Primary Purpose

Functions in a mid level Designer capacity. Under general supervision, performs functions requiring intermediate knowledge and use of standards and document control processes/procedures in support of creating and modifying deliverables. May begin to provide technical guidance to other Designers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Continues to learn and remains current on project standards, systems, document control, department and company policies and procedures.
  • Begins to proactively apply knowledge of the Quality Program to ensure that the deliverables are accurate and compliant. Supports continuous improvement of guides and standards.
  • Understands applications to evaluate and improve design methods, processes and procedures used to accomplish deliverables. Create and develop deliverables based on a variety of design inputs. May perform material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
  • Assist in coordinating deliverables within the team or teams involved on the same project.
  • Focuses on the needs of internal clients while gaining basic understanding of external clients.

Experience

Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
