NVIDIA is looking for motivated System Power Validation Engineers to use your creativity to work at NVIDIA with the highly inventive team.

What you'll be doing:

  • System/board level debug and validation of NVIDIA's products in fields like GPU cards, MGX servers, automotive, robotics, industrial PC, and consumer electronics to ensure the highest quality products reach the market.

  • Managing and accomplishing system power bring-up and debug processes.

  • Collaborating with power vendors to resolve issues and improve our power solutions.

  • Develop and simulate power solution test platforms.

  • Supporting the improvement of future products and power solution roadmaps.

  • Working closely with the design, validation, system design, system validation, silicon design, thermal/mechanical design teams, and vendors to root cause bugs and issues.

  • Contributing to the development of new power validation procedures

What we need to see:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of related experience in power validation.

  • Proven understanding of power electronics fundamentals, with experience in closed-loop control, innovative 48V topologies, multiphase regulators, high power density architecture, Power Distribution Network (PDN) impedance analysis, power devices, and power management.

  • Deep technical knowledge of telemetry and protection management, design for debugging, security, safety and reliability, and failure analysis.

  • Experience with power circuit design, magnetics, modeling, failure analysis, performance analysis, bring-up, debug, and verification.

  • Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages, including C/C++ and JavaScript, as well as Linux.

  • Proficiency with development and simulation tools, lab equipment setup, and fixing skills.

  • Team-oriented demeanor, with a "can do" attitude and excitement for solving multi-disciplinary challenges in fast-paced, layered environments.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; organized, team-oriented, and effective in working with management, collaborators, peers, suppliers, and customers.

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, cross-disciplinary, and program management skills.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
