A career at JetCool offers the opportunity to make a real impact by helping build smarter, more sustainable data centers. Together, we’re not just advancing technology — we’re redefining cooling standards to create a more sustainable tomorrow.

Job Summary

JetCool, a Flex Company, delivers patented direct‑to‑chip liquid cooling solutions purpose‑built for AI and high‑density compute environments. Powered by JetCool’s proprietary microconvective cooling technology and full‑stack portfolio—from SmartPlates to Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs)—we enable leading processor and system designers to push performance, efficiency, and reliability to new limits.

The Pre-Sales Engineer based in either Littleton, MA, Austin, TX or Milpitas, CA serves as a technical advisor to customers requiring liquid cooled Cold Plates (SmartPlates) and Cooling Distribution Units (CDU), bridging thermal and mechanical engineering depth with clear, confident customer communication. This role owns pre‑sales technical engagement ensuring JetCool solutions meet customer thermal performance and AI System and Rack integration needs.  Success in this role requires the ability to communicate complex fluid‑dynamics and heat‑transfer Engineering analysis into concise, customer‑ready explanations, while adapting technical depth in real time based on audience and context.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer thermal requirements for AI Systems

  • Serve as the primary technical interface in customer engagements

  • Support sales engagements including RFP/RFQ responses and drafting content.

  • Gather the customer requirements and technical documents for Engineering to develop the liquid cooling solution

  • Partner with Engineering in understanding and communicating the liquid cooling solution

  • Evaluate AI system‑level integration across cold plates, manifolds, CDUs, and rack‑level cooling solutions

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations highlighting JetCool’s technologies’ differentiation

  • Present thermal technical analyses in a clear, customer‑consumable format for both engineers and procurement managers

  • “Read the room” and adjust technical depth, pacing, and messaging based on audience feedback

The Experience We’re Looking to Add to Our Team:

  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering

  • Foundation in fluid mechanics or heat transfer (experience with both preferred)

  • 3+ years of industry experience, including pre-sales, engineering, or customer facing technical roles

  • Experience working with fluid based mechanical designs

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Exposure to CFD analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, Icepak, FloTHERM) is preferred but not required

  • Apply fundamentals of fluid mechanics and heat transfer to help JetCool Engineering develop liquid cooling solutions to meet customer requirements is preferred

What you'll receive for the great work you provide:

  • Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Life Insurance
  • Short-term and Long-term Disability
  • Matching 401(k) Contributions
  • Vacation and Paid Sick Time
