The Principal HR Business Partner will support our global Chief Digital and Technology Officer Business leader and reports to the SVP of People. The functions in this organization are Engineering, Product, AI and all other technical organizations. The Senior HR Business Partner is a trusted partner and subject matter expert on HR matters. Responsible for providing input on business strategy from a people management and organizational effectiveness / design perspective. They will provide business-driven input to Centers of Excellence (CoE) enabling the team to create business focused solutions and to leverage the competitive advantage that is HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Trusted thought leader/partner to our team on critical HR related processes and decisions (organizational effectiveness / design, talent management, succession planning, change management and employee management and relations).
  • In concert with HR Leadership Team, partners on the creation of the strategic HR plan and objectives while collaborating with Global HR Leaders to understand business conditions and priorities globally.
  • Frame and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a broad range of issues.
  • Lead projects and major work streams related to People strategy, operational efficiency, and best in class HR initiatives utilizing fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations.
  • Change agent helping enable large-scale people and/or change management initiatives including business transformations, organizational effectiveness / design, evolution, and development.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization, senior management, executive, functional, or regional teammates in clear, concise, and impactful way.
  • Support ongoing development opportunities for employees and managers through training, programming, performance management, coaching, career path definition, competencies, etc.
  • Coach Managers in leading global / regional teams, living corporate values and championing global standards, policies, and processes.
  • This role is not currently a people manager role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as HR Leader supporting global engineering, product and / or AI leaders, business unit leaders and / or C-suite level executive
  • Experience in dynamic environments scaling and growing organizations
  • Player/coach with ability to operate independently or as a member of a team and able to navigate ambiguity with a positive outlook
  • Strong learning agility, business/HR acumen
  • Strong influencing and consultative skills combined with problem-solving skills
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience within a global technology organization
