  • You want to set technical standards and influence delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation and validation of platform components across complex client environments.

  • Mentor and guide Senior Implementation Engineers; foster technical growth and best practices.

  • Drive discovery and design (targeted, time-boxed exercise) when Lead Architect is unavailable.

  • Collaborate with Lead Architect and participate in architecture review board (ARB) and peer reviews.

  • Set technical standards and delivery frameworks; develop reusable assets and best practice documentation.

  • Maintain expertise in cloud-native architectures, DevOps, and security practices.

  • Influence product direction and contribute to ongoing improvement of delivery methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience in technical delivery; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in solution implementation, integration engineering, or technical delivery within complex enterprise environments, including leadership of large-scale projects.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, with fluency in at least one additional programming language (e.g., Java, C#).

  • Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and multiple NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).

  • Mastery of integration frameworks and tools, including RESTful/SOAP APIs, ETL platforms, and data movement/transformation technologies.

  • Deep expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, advanced containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

  • Demonstrated multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), including infrastructure, database management, and API integration.

  • Advanced Linux administration, shell scripting, and production troubleshooting.

  • Proven skill in designing, optimizing, and managing complex data architectures, including modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and scalable data lakes/lakehouses.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience guiding customer teams through installation, configuration, and validation of enterprise software solutions.

  • Experience mentoring and developing technical talent; proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to operate autonomously across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for client engagements and project delivery needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Cloud certifications at Professional/Expert level (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Kubernetes certification (CKA) strongly preferred.

  • Infrastructure-as-code certification (e.g., Terraform) a plus.

  • Successful delivery of integration-intensive projects in complex enterprise environments.

  • Proven ability to design secure, scalable architectures aligned with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with Protegrity’s packaged delivery framework and key milestones (ESA, DSG, Protector).

  • Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and secure SDLC methodologies.

  • Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing technical strategy.
