Overview:

Product Education Specialists at Precisely design and deliver modern learning and user assistance experiences that help users get the most value from our products. As part of a global User Assistance team, you work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Support, and other cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile and AI-first environment. You lead the evolution of product education toward modern, in-product and self-service experiences that empower end users to successfully achieve their goals. Moving beyond traditional training models, you design contextual, just-in-time guidance that supports users in the flow of work - helping them complete key tasks faster, increasing adoption, reducing time-to-value, and enhancing the overall product experience.

What you will do:

  • Lead and define the strategy and roadmap for evolving product education from traditional training and documentation to modern, in-product and self-service experiences, including defining what successful product adoption looks like for end users.
  • Drive a shift toward modern learning experiences, including in-product guidance, contextual help, and AI-powered self-service via Help Center, search, and chat.
  • Design task-based, workflow-driven learning that enables users to successfully complete key actions in the product.
  • Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering to drive end-to-end education and user assistance experiences across the product, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives across teams.
  • Define and implement a scalable self-service learning strategy across Help Center, Knowledge Base, documentation, and internal sources.
  • Ensure a unified and seamless learning experience across channels, so users can access consistent, connected information regardless of where they are in their journey.
  • Continuously measure and improve learning effectiveness using data, feedback, and user behavior insights tied to adoption and user success.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in product education, user assistance, learning and development, instructional design, technical communications, or a closely related field
  • Strong sense of ownership and curiosity, with a demonstrated eagerness to stay ahead of trends in product education, learning technologies, and AI-driven experiences
  • Experience designing modern, AI-enabled education and user assistance experiences, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Github Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and AI-driven content platforms to build in-product guidance, conversational assistants, and scalable self-service solutions powered by RAG-based retrieval, prompt-driven workflows, and structured knowledge systems
  • Proven track record of strong project management and communication skills to successfully lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven experience designing role-based learning programs using adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM)
  • Strong understanding of how adults learn in the flow of work, with the ability to design task-based, just-in-time learning experiences that prioritize action over content consumption
  • Hands-on experience with learning and content tools, including learning management systems (Docebo, SAP Litmos, Cornerstone), authoring tools (EasyGenerator, Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate), video creation tools (Camtasia, Guidde, Loom, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar), and knowledge platforms (SharePoint, Confluence)

AI Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experience using enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot (M365, Copilot Studio) and Azure OpenAI / Azure AI services to accelerate content creation, editing, and workflows
  • Ability to design and leverage AI-powered self-service experiences, including search, chat assistants, and contextual guidance across Help Center and in-product environments
  • Familiarity with AI-driven content workflows, including prompt design, structured content generation, and AI-assisted knowledge delivery
  • Experience working with AI-powered knowledge and retrieval systems (RAG-based search, MCP or similar architecture) to enable unified, scalable content access
  • Strong judgment in evaluating AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, brand voice, and instructional quality, with a willingness to experiment and adopt new capabilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience applying AI-driven personalization and recommendations to improve user adoption, learning outcomes, and self-service experiences
  • Familiarity with building or integrating AI-powered assistants within product or Help Center environments to enable contextual guidance and support
  • Experience working with content intelligence and analytics tools to derive insights from user behavior and optimize product education strategies
  • Exposure to AI-enabled automation of content workflows, including content generation, tagging, and knowledge organization
  • Understanding of emerging trends in AI-powered learning, developer education, and knowledge management, with the ability to translate these into practical use cases
