Job Summary

The Principal Product Manager, Agentic Identity Management (AIM), will lead the strategy and evolution of one of Imprivata’s newest and most innovative product areas. AIM helps organizations safely adopt AI agents by enabling secure, governed, and auditable access to enterprise systems and resources. This role will shape the product from the ground up, defining the vision, validating customer needs, driving product-market fit, and establishing a path to scalable growth. As a Principal-level individual contributor, this person will operate with significant autonomy and influence to translate strategy into execution and help position Imprivata as a leader in securing identity and access for the agentic AI era.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the vision and strategy for AIM, defining the customer problems we solve, target markets, differentiated value proposition, and long-term product direction.
  • Drive product-market fit through continuous customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and validation with early customers and prospects.
  • Own the AIM roadmap and investment priorities, balancing near-term customer needs, strategic differentiation, technical considerations, and business impact.
  • Lead AIM from emerging product to scalable offering, using early-access programs and customer feedback to validate assumptions and guide product evolution.
  • Partner across Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and other teams to bring AIM to market and drive successful adoption.
  • Influence commercialization strategy, including target segments, use cases, pricing and packaging, positioning, and the path from lighthouse customers to repeatable growth.
  • Define and measure product and business success, using customer, adoption, revenue, and market indicators to guide priorities and recommend where to accelerate, pivot, or invest.
  • Serve as a Principal-level product leader, influencing senior stakeholders, driving alignment across teams, mentoring other product managers, and representing AIM with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, including ownership of complex products or product areas.
  • Experience developing or managing products that incorporate AI-driven capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer, market, and business needs into product strategy and priorities.
  • Strong executive-level presentation, written communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience operating in ambiguous environments and driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in identity, identity management, access management, cybersecurity, or adjacent security domains.
  • Experience integrating products with AI agents, agent platforms, or agentic workflows.
  • Experience leading a new or emerging product from early concept through launch, adoption, and scale.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS products sold into complex or regulated customer environments.
  • Familiarity with product commercialization, including pricing, packaging, positioning, or go-to-market strategy.

This position offers a total compensation range of $160,650.00 to $191,100.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives).
