We're seeking a Principal Product Manager to help set the long-term product strategy and vision for RDC's Client business. You'll work directly with the senior leaders across the organization, GMs of each business line to shape direction across a broad, diverse portfolio spanning both lead products (buyer and seller) and non-lead products (branding, promotions, and other brokerage software offerings). You define the strategic bets, build the business case, and hand off a clear, defensible roadmap for others to execute.

This is high-ambiguity, high-stakes work. You'll define product strategy where no playbook exists, align senior stakeholders and make the tradeoffs that shape how the product portfolio scales as it grows. You operate at the level of an internal consultant: recognized by peers and leadership up to the executive team as a strategy driver, sought out for pattern recognition and judgment that spans the whole business, not just a single product.

What You'll Do:
  • Define and drive product strategy in a high-stakes, cross-functional environment, partnering directly with the leaders in Client Products, GMs, and the Corporate Strategy team to set direction for the Client portfolio.
  • Own the long-term strategic roadmap across both lead and non-lead products, translating business priorities into a coherent, sequenced portfolio that other teams build against.
  • Define scope and sequencing,  from minimum-viable strategic moves through long-term vision,  and drive prioritization and tradeoffs across teams.
  • Define and evolve the packaging, pricing, and tiering strategy that ties lead and non-lead offerings into one coherent, differentiated value proposition across client segments.
  • Build the strategic and business case foundation for new commercial models and business opportunities, assessing the right to win before the business commits real investment.
  • Establish success measures and an operating cadence - dashboards, reviews, and action plans - to track adoption, experience, and financial impact of the strategy over time.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials including roadmap updates, decisions, and business reviews for leadership and governance forums.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, GMs, sales, and marketing, keeping complex, multi-team strategic initiatives moving without direct authority.
  • Review strategic partnerships and where we buy, partner, or build, aligned to our highest-impact business areas.
  • Act as an internal consultant across Client Product: bring the pattern recognition and cross-domain understanding that comes from seeing the whole business, not just one product, to help other teams see around corners.
  • Represent Core Product Strategy in executive planning forums, present, defend, and sell the strategic vision, and adjust the plan when the evidence says to.
  • Raise the level of strategic thinking across the broader Product organization; serve as a sounding board and mentor for other PMs working through complex, ambiguous strategic problems.
What You'll Bring:
  • An established track record as a strategy driver, fully recognized by peers and leadership all the way to the ELT.
  • A proven ability to define and set the “north star” on your own initiative, and a track record of successfully selling a strategic vision to skeptical stakeholders.
  • Depth of understanding that spans the entire business, not just your own domain, enough to consult and collaborate anywhere in Client Product and spot patterns, risks, and dependencies others miss.
  • Comfort setting direction amid high ambiguity across a broad, diverse portfolio spanning both lead-generation and non-lead software or subscription business models.
  • A proven track record of gaining buy-in at the executive leadership level, and comfort independently driving cross-functional strategic decisions and escalations.
  • Comfort building a business case in genuinely ambiguous, undefined problem spaces, you don't need an existing playbook to know how to structure the analysis.
  • Strong financial and business acumen: P&L fluency, revenue and market sizing, and ROI/business-case modeling for new commercial models.
  • Excellent communication: concise, decision-oriented storytelling and executive-ready writing and presenting, able to distill complex tradeoffs for GM and ELT audiences.
  • Experience shaping new commercial models (subscription, cost-per-lead, marketplace monetization) is a strong plus.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of product management experience, including significant time operating at a strategic or portfolio level rather than single-product execution.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with C-suite or executive level stakeholders on strategy and long-range planning.
  • A track record of shaping new business lines or commercial models with measurable P&L impact.
  • Experience in real estate, marketplace, or B2B subscription/services businesses
