Position Overview

As a Principal Program Manager in Go-to-Market Transformation and Programs at Autodesk, you will lead complex, cross-functional transformation and growth programs critical to Autodesk’s GTM strategy. You will translate strategic priorities into structured, outcome-focused execution, driving measurable business impact such as revenue growth, productivity gains, or cost efficiency.

You will establish and evolve the governance, operating cadence, and delivery approach that enable teams to execute effectively and leaders to make informed decisions. Working closely with directors, senior leaders, and executives, you will provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and tradeoffs, helping guide how work is accomplished across the organization.

You bring both rigor and judgment to your work, applying strong program management discipline while navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and facilitating alignment across teams. You balance attention to detail with the ability to connect initiatives to broader organizational objectives.

This position is hybrid/remote and reports to the Senior Manager of GTM PMO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact GTM transformation and growth programs from strategy through execution and benefits realization, ensuring alignment to organizational priorities and measurable outcomes

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve program governance, operating cadence, and delivery structures that create clarity, accountability, and momentum

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and executives to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, surface tradeoffs, and drive timely, well-informed decisions

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Operations, Product, and Technology, resolving systemic blockers and managing complex dependencies

  • Influence outcomes without direct authority by building trust, aligning stakeholders around shared goals, and navigating competing priorities to move work forward

  • Provide clear, executive-ready reporting and summaries that communicate progress, risks, outcomes, and recommendations

  • Own the framing of decisions needed to unblock work, including outlining options, implications, and recommended paths forward

  • Proactively anticipate and identify risks and opportunities, escalating with thoughtful mitigation plans and proposed actions

  • Coach and mentor junior program managers assigned to programs, providing guidance, developing capabilities, and ensuring consistent application of PMO standards and best practices

  • Apply and adapt PMO standards, tools, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement of program delivery across the team

  • Partner with enablement and change management teams to ensure programs are supported by effective communication, training, and adoption approaches

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs or transformations with impacts to go-to-market functions

  • Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders and executives, including preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and supporting decision-making

  • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and balance detailed execution with strategic context

  • Proven success driving collaboration across global teams and multiple functions and maintaining momentum in complex environments

  • Experience operating within a PMO-governed program management framework, using standard tools, artifacts, and reporting with accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences

  • PMP, Change Management, or related certifications preferred, with demonstrated flexibility in application

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
