This role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, system architecture, and cross-team influence to deliver high-performance, maintainable solutions at scale. The ideal candidate is a seasoned software engineer who sets technical direction, elevates engineering standards, and drives impactful results across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications across the full stack.

  • Define and drive technical vision, standards, and best practices across engineering teams.

  • Lead the design of reusable UI component libraries and systems with attention to quality and developer experience.

  • Oversee backend architecture and API design, ensuring consistency, performance, and maintainability.

  • Lead and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering technical growth and a culture of engineering excellence.

  • Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business objectives.

  • Identify systemic technical debt and champion initiatives that improve platform health and team velocity.

  • Make build vs. buy decisions and evaluate technology choices for long-term sustainability.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Deep expertise in software engineering principles, system design, and architectural patterns.

  • Proficient in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar).

  • Skilled in Node.js and designing high-performance, scalable APIs.

  • Experience with responsive, mobile-first web application development.

  • Strong understanding of monorepo tooling, OOP principles, and distributed system architecture.

  • Proven track record of designing solutions for complex systems, such as ad delivery networks, authentication, or real-time applications.

  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ownership mindset with a bias for action and a drive to solve hard problems.

  • Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams or an entire organization.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience with Angular and NestJS.

  • Familiarity with NX monorepos.
