At Summit, we're on the lookout for talent that doesn't just think "outside the box," but brings their own unique perspective to the table. With our relentless pursuit of excellence and curiosity, we lead innovation in our industry. We humanize technology by actively listening to our clients, crafting tailored proposals, and delivering on the promise of technology with precision and purpose.

We’re hiring a Principal Technical Product Manager to lead complex, cross-product initiatives and drive operational excellence across multiple product teams. You will be a key driver of alignment, execution, and continuous improvement - translating strategic direction into actionable plans, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and fostering best practices that elevate the entire product organization.

This is a senior individual contributor role for a seasoned product leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, mentoring peers, and enabling product success at scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate complex initiatives that span multiple products, business units, or technical domains, ensuring seamless execution and alignment.
  • Drive product delivery excellence by owning backlog prioritization, release planning, and risk mitigation across large scopes.
  • Influence and mentor product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to raise the bar on product management discipline and collaboration.
  • Identify and lead improvements in product development processes, tooling, and documentation that enhance efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Partner closely with product leadership to translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Champion cross-functional communication, removing blockers and fostering alignment among engineering, delivery, sales, marketing, and product operations.
  • Leverage customer insights, data analytics, and market feedback to drive iterative improvements and tactical decisions.
  • Support go-to-market readiness by coordinating with sales enablement and marketing teams on launch plans and collateral.

What You’ll Deliver:

  • Successful delivery of complex, multi-product initiatives that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Scalable processes, frameworks, and tooling improvements that enhance product execution and transparency across teams.
  • A culture of mentorship and knowledge-sharing that strengthens product management capabilities company-wide.
  • Clear, actionable roadmaps and prioritization frameworks that drive team focus and stakeholder confidence.
  • Data-driven insights and feedback loops that inform ongoing product refinement and decision-making.
  • Efficient coordination and execution of product launches with full cross-functional readiness.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Have 8+ years of product management experience delivering complex technical products or portfolios.
  • Are skilled at influencing and leading without formal authority across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Have a strong track record mentoring and elevating other product managers and contributors.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and trade-offs in fast-paced environments.
  • Possess deep technical knowledge in data center services, cloud platforms, VDI, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Excel at translating ambiguity into clarity and driving operational excellence at scale.
  • Are highly organized, communicative, and adept at managing competing priorities with poise.
  • Use Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools to streamline product planning and execution.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with Pragmatic Institute or ProductOps Alliance methodologies.
  • Experience improving product management practices and tooling across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to lead product enablement, documentation, and training initiatives.
  • Exposure to SaaS, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), or enterprise IT environments.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, or ITIL frameworks.

At Summit, our culture and core values are important to us. As a diverse team of passionate pathfinders, we deliver on the promise of technology. If this sparks your interest, we'd love to chat with you!
