Principal Upgrades Program Manager - Windchill

Reports to: Solution Center Senior Director

Location: Remote - USA

In this role within the PTC SaaS Upgrade and Transition Team you will own and support the delivery of multiple Projects/Programs across Operations, upgrades, and transition functions within the Software, Operations, and Support organization to help drive PTC’s SaaS transformation at scale. The candidate will be accountable for portfolio-level execution, ensuring predictable delivery, customer success, cost management, internal stakeholder alignment, and alignment to business priorities.  Your work will drive transformation of our business towards a more SaaS-friendly ecosystem.

Your teams will consist of Architects, Engineers, Support personnel, and PTC Leaders at varying levels, working on operational activities of various complexity and scope. You will also work closely with the extended Customer Success organization, R&D, Cloud organization, and Technical Support to ensure proper scope, resource pools, and dependencies are being defined and developed properly.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects to ensure the realization of value, quality, and on-time delivery of defined scope
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Communicate project status regularly to various stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to mitigate potential risks
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Perform cost analysis and establishing cost optimization projects
  • Drive and track maintenance coordination activities
  • Drive and track customer execution activities
  • Drive the continuing evolution of existing processes and tools
  • Drive the ISO certification as well as internal and external audits
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques and change management processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing large, complex programs
  • Proven project management experience of SaaS Implementations
  • Strong leadership, escalation management and problem solving skills across cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software tools and methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Ability to operate independently with high visibility and accountability
  • U.S. Citizen - This position requires eligibility under U.S. Government export control regulations and federal customer requirements; therefore, applicants must be U.S. citizens

Preferred:

  • Experience with Windchill, PLM upgrades, or implementations
  • Experience with SaaS transformation programs
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience in Enterprise software industry

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $120,000 - 150,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.  Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
