Location/Division Specific Information

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

  • Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus Potential!

How will you make an impact?

You will support manufacturing operations focused on assembly and molding processes, driving process optimization, quality improvements, automation initiatives, and new product introductions in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring manufacturing processes operate efficiently while meeting the highest quality standards. Through process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product introduction support, you will help maximize productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement production and processing methods to meet quality, cost, and efficiency objectives.

  • Support startup and implementation of new and existing production projects and product lines.

  • Establish and maintain process controls and related documentation.

  • Monitor assembly and molding processes, troubleshoot process issues, and assist in resolving quality concerns.

  • Develop manufacturing processes for new products and document product developments and engineering changes.

  • Evaluate new product performance and support tooling design and implementation.

  • Debug moderately complex issues involving systems, tooling, and automation equipment.

  • Design and implement experiments to improve process capability, yields, cycle times, and equipment utilization.

  • Recommend and implement process and automation improvements while maintaining proper documentation.

  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to manufacturing processes.

  • Provide technical support and expertise for production and engineering projects.

  • May provide direction and guidance to assembly and material handling employees.

  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and actively support all company safety and quality initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience supporting SMT PCBA assembly and secondary operations like conformal coating, underfill, Glob Top and RTV materials and manufacturing processes in a high-volume production environment.

  • Experience with process development, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience supporting new product introductions, tooling, automation, and production startup activities.

  • Experience working with quality systems and process documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing process engineering principles and process control methodologies.

  • Proficiency with wet processes including Underfill, Glob Top, and Conformal Coating.

  • Proficiency in PCBA de-paneling processes utilizing laser equipment.

  • Ability to interpret mechanical schematics, engineering drawings, GD&T, and product specifications.

  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and identifying root causes of quality issues.

  • Knowledge of automation systems, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing and PCBA assembly environments.

  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Familiarity with automated assembly operations and manufacturing process validation.

  • Experience supporting new tooling and equipment qualification projects.
