Processor Core Logic Design/Architect

Responsibilities:

Partner with the Chief Architect to identify opportunities for improvement.

Architect, specify, and design enhancements to address those opportunities.

Work closely with validation and physical design teams to productize solutions.

Position Requirements:               

Minimum 3 years of experience in processor core logic design.

 

Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

  • Load/store
  • Instruction fetch and branch prediction
  • Memory management
  • Bus protocols
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization is a plus, including:
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks
  • Analyzing and modeling potential improvements
  • Implementing solutions
  • Requires strong architecture knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
