How You Will Make an Impact:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Procurement Manager to build and lead a high-impact procurement function. This role is critical in securing cost-effective vendor agreements, streamlining procurement processes, and optimizing systems to improve working capital and overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in vendor negotiations, ERP transitions, and a sharp eye for detail in contract and inventory management.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and scale the procurement department, defining policies, workflows, and best practices
  • Create procurement KPIs and dashboards to track savings, efficiency, and vendor performance
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiations to secure the best pricing and terms
  • Collaborate closely with the Credits/Accounts Receivable team to ensure vendor terms align with cash flow and receivables strategy
  • Manage vendor contracts and performance scorecards, ensuring risk mitigation and continuity of supply
  • Ensure accuracy in all Purchase Orders (POs) including pricing, quantities, timelines, and cost coding
  • Align with inventory and operations teams to forecast demand and prevent overbuying, waste, or dead stock
  • Drive purchasing decisions that improve cash flow and inventory turnover
  • Lead the transition from Epicor to Microsoft Dynamics in collaboration with IT and business teams from a procurement perspective
  • Fully leverage ERP capabilities to automate workflows, ensure data accuracy, and enhance visibility across procurement, finance, and inventory
  • Build and maintain procurement analytics and reporting within the ERP
  • Maintain procurement documentation, contract archives, and supplier qualification records.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Champion ethical sourcing practices

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within manufacturing, energy, or logistics.
  • Demonstrated success in cost savings and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience working in or with Accounts Receivable or finance teams is highly desirable.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems; experience with both Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lead ERP migrations and system integrations across departments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and process builder.
  • Strong communicator with ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Highly organized with a bias for action and results.
  • Data-driven and comfortable using KPIs to drive decisions.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
