Product Definition Engineer – Power Path ICs

About the role

We are looking for a Product Definition Engineer (Systems / Applications Engineer) to drive the development of next-generation power devices including dc-dc converters, hot-swap controllers. You will translate system and customer needs into product specifications targeting automotive, and computing/server markets, while collaborating closely with R&D, marketing, and customers.

What you will do
  • Analyze market trends and customer requirements across automotive, industrial, and server applications
  • Define product requirements (CRS, design targets, datasheet parameters)
  • Act as technical interface between customers and internal teams
  • Perform competitive benchmarking (performance, cost, features)
  • Own product roadmap and NPI pipeline
  • Create business cases, perform ROI analysis, and own results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development team to bring products to market
  • Train marketing and field applications to drive assigned portfolio to revenue
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years experience in applications, systems, or product definition engineering
  • Experience with power ICs: dc-dc buck converters/controllers, hot-swap controllers
  • Knowledge of automotive, industrial, or server power systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate system requirements into IC specifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
