About The Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Product Design Producer to strengthen our Design Operations team and enhance our product design organization. This role is crucial in streamlining and standardizing design processes across the organization, supporting and empowering design teams to deliver innovative, human-centered products. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional initiatives to maximize design impact while acting as a force-multiplier by improving efficiency and collaboration. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, takes ownership of their work, and excels at bringing clarity and structure to complex design workflows and challenges. This role requires someone who can effectively guide design colleagues while driving operational excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with other Product Design Producers and Design leadership to create processes to empower designers

  • Define and establish standards to enable designers to do their best work, and align tools and processes with outcomes across the design organization

  • Identify areas for process improvements within the design team and across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and outcomes

  • Help establish, reinforce, and maintain the integrity of design practices of the design organization across 

  • Assist with vendor management and design tool procurement, onboarding, contracts, and budgeting

  • Stay current on industry trends in design ops, research ops, and AI ops and optimize for organizational improvements

  • Report on outcomes to the leadership team

  • Identify and remove barriers that impact design success or team wellbeing

  • Advocate for human-centered design across the organization 

  • Collaborate with design leadership to facilitate the architecture, strategy, technology standardization, enablement, and governance of Generative and Agentic AI capabilities across the organization

  • Facilitate cross-product/functional collaboration and communication

  • Identify and create opportunities for design colleagues to improve their skills and capabilities. This could include - but is not limited to - conducting training sessions, establishing a regular cadence of learning and development activities, and encouraging/organizing participation in design-related education

  • Prioritize the well being and growth of colleagues across the design organization by working to find solutions to day-to-day challenges 

  • Empower design colleagues by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in areas such as:

  • Goal-setting, receiving constructive feedback, ownership, and accountability

What You’ll Need:

  • Expertise in industry-standard tools such as Figma

  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills in visual, verbal and written formats

  • Experience working in organizations with varying levels of Product Design maturity, and exposure to different ways of approaching design and pitfalls/benefits associated with each approach

  • A strong understanding of design principles, processes, and their application throughout the product design lifecycle

  • Experience with vendor and tool management, policy and legal governance

  • The ability to coach and mentor team members and guide them to success

  • Experience with AI-powered applications that drive design productivity and decision-making across disciplines

  • Experience in project management and work prioritization in a fast-paced design environment

  •  A self-driven, growth-oriented mindset and openness to feedback and improvement

  • Data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgment by observing, identifying, and solving problems

  • Strong servant leadership qualities, fostering teamwork and inclusivity

  • Excellent communication skills for effective team engagement and stakeholder relations.

  • Ability to create alignment between various stakeholders

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities

  • Ability to embrace ambiguity while figuring out incremental progress.

  • High level of integrity and autonomy. You have the determination and resolve to do the right thing for your colleagues and for the users of our products

  • Ability to work from our Toronto office 2+ days per week.

CrowdStrike Canada ULC is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in Canada is $100,000 - $165,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. This is Canadian-based employment, and it is expected that all employees maintain legal entitlement to work in Canada.
